What is the difference between a SATA SSD and an NVMe SSD?
An NVMe SSD connects through an M.2 slot and is several times faster than a SATA SSD. A SATA SSD is the right choice for older laptops and desktops that have no NVMe slot, and it is still far faster than a hard disk.
Will an NVMe SSD fit my laptop or PC?
Only if the motherboard has an M.2 slot that supports NVMe. Older machines usually need a 2.5-inch SATA SSD. If you are unsure, tell us the model or bring the machine to a branch and we will check.
What SSD capacity should I buy?
256GB is enough for Windows and office work. 512GB suits most people. Choose 1TB or more for games, video editing or large files.
Do you sell used SSDs?
Yes. We sell tested used SATA, M.2 and NVMe SSDs as well as brand new drives. The warranty period is stated on each product page.
Can you install the SSD for me?
Yes. Our technicians carry out hardware upgrades for laptops and desktops at our branches.
